A MARITIME WEDDING

CELEBRATED AT ST. PAUL’S. A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedral on ’ Friday evening last, the contracting 1 parties being Nellie, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. Plunkett, Dunedin, and I Captain J. .E. Walker, of the , s.s. Kurow, son of Mr and Mrs C. B. Walker, Taiamai Station, Taupaki. The ceremony was performed Dy tffe Ven. Archdeacon Johnston. The bride, who was given away by Mr E. Collins, looked charming in a simple frock of beige georgette with touches of cyclamen, and a cyclamen hat and scarf to match. The bridesmaid; Miss Della Collins, was dressed in a beautiful frock of crepe de chine and a black hat. Mr Will Hancock, secretary headquarters staff. U.S.S. Co., carried out, the duties of best man. After , the ceremony a reception was held at 159, The Terrace. The bridegroom’s mother, Mrs C. B. Walker, who received the guests, wore an ensemble of grey 'crepe de chine, and carried a beautiful mauve bouquet. Their future home will be in Melbourne.
