NEEDY SCHOLARS’ PRIZE NEW YORK, December 13. Mr John D. Rockefeller is to-day the proudest man in America. His grandson, John Rockefeller Prentice has won the Yale University scholarship for students needing financial assistance. The award has revealed the fact that 1 Prentice decided some time ago to make his own way in the wftrld and not ito call on the. family’s millions for assistance. He has been working as a telephone operator at £2 10s a week, and has not received a penny from his parents for five years.
