HAGLEY HALL DESTROYED
A STATELY HOME OF ENGLAND. (Sydney "Sun" Cable.) LONDON, December 25. ’ A fire destroyed Hagley Hall, Worcestershire. The hall, which Fas four centuries: old, was the seat of viscount Cobham, who had accompanied his fpmily to a children’s house party. The servants were all forced to escape in their night attire. The contents of the place included hooks, tapestries, pictures, and statuary, dating hack to the reign of Charles I.; also busts of Shakespeare, Milton, Drvderi. and Soenser.
