PALMERSTON NORTH CASES THEFT CHARGES ADMITTED.

Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N., December ,8. Walter Honey, a labourer, appeared in the Police Court to answer several charges of theft. He pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to imprisonment for one month on each charge, the sentences to run concurrently. He also pleaded guilty to charges of breaking, entering, and theft, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.

Basil Trevor Woods, aged sixteen, on eight charges of theft, was convicted and discharged. On two indictable theft charges he pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence
