WELLINGTON CIVIC LEAGUE
ANNUAL MEETING TO-MORROW. The Wellington Civic League annual meeting will be held on Thursday, December 10th, at 7.45 p.m., in No. 1 committee room, Town Hall. His Worship the Mayor (Mr C. J. -B. Norwood) will open the proceedings and the Mayoress will also be present. Business to be transacted will cover the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, election of officers, recommendations of the executive and general. On the conclusion of the formal business an opportunity will be given for free disenssion of affairs affecting the city , It is probable that in this discussion questions will be raised respecting city management: the appointment of leading executive officers, the estimates and general policy of city finances, the procedure of the City Council as relating. to issues of administration and policy and other matters on which the citizens are much concerned. „■
