SUPREME COURT SITTINGS HIVE PERSONS'CHARGED. Per Press. Association. CHRISTCHURCH, November 17. The shortest criminal session of the Supreme Court for many years in Christchurch, opened and concluded to-day. The proceedings occupied about -two hours and forty-five minutes, opening at 10.30 a.m. and concluding at 2.22 p.m. Of the five ' persons charged, the grand jury found no hill against one, one was acquitted and 'three pleaded guilty. The prisoners who pleaded guilty will be sentenced on Thursday morning.
