TO LOOK ON BROADWAY
NEW ZEALAND GREENSTONE UNIQUE PRESENTATION. What will servo to remind Uncle Sam’s deep-water toys of the farthest Dominion is a stone which was presented to the Famous Players-Lasky Film Corporation yesterday. This stone is a greenstone block which is to be used in ornamenting the facade of Paramount’s big new theatre on the corner of Broadway and 43rd street, New York. It was given to the company by the New Zealand Government at the suggestion of Mr, R. P. Davison, Paramount publicity manager 1 , and Mr Davison and Mr A. Terry, secretary to the company, reoeived the stone yesterday. The presentation was made yesterday by Mr James Hislop, Under-Secretary for Internal Affairs and administrative head of the Publicity Office. The new theatre will be in a pile of over 30 stories, and ite facade will be decorated by stone from _ every foreign country. 4. film of presentation was taken, and in it will beincluded Maori scenes and shots taken when the American sailors were here. This film wilj 110 exhibited in the States.
