Dear Fairiel, —They are not soft and fluffy ones—they are just in that nasty stage—white, and always in the dirt. I could not do the picnic, some of the words were rather trioky. My answer to this week’s competition is just what I could see wrong—so I hope it is all right. 1 always look forward to Saturday morning for the paper comes early. On Sunday morning I don’t want to get the milk; but on Saturday I go as soon as I am up. . . . for the paper is left with the milk. I must close now, dearest Fairiel, your loving fairy, MYRA POST, Upper Hutt. • » . * Dear Fairiel, —,1 have lived at Muritai for four years, and it is a lovely seaside place to spend holidays. There are ever so many things pne can do over here, especially in the summertime. I love bathing and fishing. During the school holidays my mother takes some of my boy chums and me for long walks. We often take our lunch and picnio on the rocks. One thing I like doing is making the wood fire to boil the billy. Sometimes of an evening we all go down to the beach to see the fishermen hauling in their nets. If they have a good catch they sell it to the people on the beach. I am Interested in tennis, and am a junior member of the Muritai Club In the winter I play football in the school team. One day last summer we took some friends-to Pencarrow lighthouse. We have a very pretty flower garden and soon the roses will be blooming, and then I will send you some for your table. Much love, dear Fairiel, from JIM JUDD, Muritai.
