DEATH BY POISON
Per Press Association. MASTERTON, September 24. At the inquest on tho body of Mrs W. Griffiths a verdict was returned of death caused by taking poison while in a depressed state of mind.
A grateful patient at Wellington Hospital forwarded a cheque for £3 3s to the Dental Department, Tho amount has been nanded over to the matron for one of her numerous activities.
"Wellington Hospital Board Ims authorised tho matron to expend up to £IOO for the purchase of Christmas goods, toys and extsas for the hospital.
