Money-orders must be obtained by 11 a.m. Note: Newspaper rate of postage to United States of America is 1(1 for the first four ounces and 4d for each succeeding two ounces.

She ••arries 506 bags mail and 294 parcel-re-ceptacles for Wellington from Great Britain and America: due September 28th. WARNING. Newspapers are mspatched for Great Britain, Europe, and America, per San Francisco and Vancouver mail steamers if postage is paid according to the weight of the newspaper. All weekly newspapers addressed to Great Britain exceeding Boz in weight and 'having only Id postage affixed are held for dispatch per direct steamer. The PUBLIC IS WARNED that the direct steamers are indefinitely held up owing to the strike. Parcels for overseas are also suffering delay from the some cause.
