This was the inscription on a medal found amongst the belongings of a matt who was picked up on Lpmbton quay on. September 2nd, and iroo died in the Wellington Hospital on Monday last without gaining consciousness. So far it has. been the only means of identification, hut it is possible that a man named Kenny, who arrives from Auckland this morning, may clear up the mystery. ! Evidence given at an inquest held by the coroner, Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M., yesterday morning showed that the deceased died from haemorrhage of the brain, and after the medical testimony had been given- the inqueßt was adjourned sine die.
