MANAWATU SHOW
FAT STOCK EXHIBITS CLASSIFICATION RULING. A well-known stock dealer has asked, iu view of tho interest taken in fat stock classes at the forthcoming show, that a ruling should be given regarding the classification of Kyeland cross sheep uid lambs. The matter has been submitted to the secretary or the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association, who states that the North Island Conference has ruled that a Ryeland being classed as a middle wool sheep is, ir crossed with the longwool breeds, to be classed as a longwool, the balance being in favour of those breeds. It necessarily follows that if they are crossed with Downs they must be put under that dassification. It- will be as well therefore, for those interested, who contemplate exhibiting, should give the breeding on entry form to avoid any trouble and dissatisfaction.
