“TIMES” CRICKET CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. There was a large attendance at the annual meeting of the "New Zealand Times" Cricket Club, over which Mr E. McKenzie presided. A motion of sympathy was accorded to Mr E. Lane in his illness, and it was trusted he would be speedily restored to health. The report and balance-sheet were presented and adopted. Mr C. A. Harris, who was enthusiastically welcomed as an active member, intimated his intention of presenting a trophy to the most improved player during the season, the selection to be made by the committee. A vote of thanks was accorded the donor. % The "Evening Post" team, who were successful in winning the Blundell Cup last season, were congratulated on their success.
