CHURCHES SHOULD FIGHT “REDS” DAY OF PRAYER SUGGESTED Sydney “Sun” Cable. LONDON, September 21. The Rev. IV. 11. Smith-Dorrien, bendary of Exeter, in a letter to tho “Daily Mail,” says: “The churches should fight the Reds, whose aim is to abolish Christianity. A menace so great demands common action.” The writer recalls that it was not until/the fourth year of the Great War that Britain introduced a national day of prayer and intercession. The result was'that.nation alter nation collapsed like a house of cards, and the war ended quickly like a miracle. “Let us do similarly now,” he concludes.
