FOUR KILLED IN BOILER
The inquest on tour victims of a boiler-scaling accident at Shotton was held at Chester, when the jury returned a verdict of “Accidental death through misadventure,” adding they did not think necessary precautions had been taken to safeguard the men at work in the boiler. John Robert Phillips, fireman, said it was his job to fire the boilers. He though c the job of flueing had been finished. No one told him the men were scaling the boiler. Simply by force of hnbit he opened the valve and filled the boiler.
