PARIS ADOPTS A NEW IDEA PICTURES ON THE ANKLE. (Sydne* "Run" Cable.! PARIS, September 20. Photographic stockings, on which the picture of the wearer or a friend is printed clearly by a new secret process on the gossamer-like fabric, ate to be seen. At present the picture is usually worn outside the leg, near the ankle bone. Alternatively, the portrait may be set medallion style on each instep. Innumerable stockings are handpainted with floral cubist designs., A new gunmetal colour is replacing the flesh tints.
