STRIKE DECLARED OFF
NEW SEASON NOT AFFECTED. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, September 21. The Tokomaru Bay Freezing Company has received word officially from the Freezing Workers’ Union that the strike which occurred at the close of last season has been declared off, so no trouble is anticipated when the new killing season opens.
