WOMEN’S NATIONAL RESERVE
RESIDENTIAL NURSERY SHEETING OF EXECUTIVE. The executive of the Women’s Na!tional Reserve Residential Nursery, Owen street, met recently. The Hon. Dr. Collins presided over a full attendance of members. The matron’s report was received and pronounced highly satisfactory; it also stated that the caliphont had been installed in the nurses’ home, and that replacements had been made; also planting in tho vegetable garden had been done. A number of visitors had been greatly interested and impressed with the work and administration, among them Professor Namee, of Japan, and Lady Reed, of the Empire Press party. The treasurer (Mrs FindlayV reported the following donations: Mrs T. Young, £3 3s; Lady Reed, £1; Mrs Hudson, £1: Mrs Sidey, 4s; Mrs Allen, 10s; Mr J. McLean, £1; Anonymous, £1; Kelburn branch (interest), £8 16s; Anonymous, £5; gift haberdashery (anonymous). A, meeting of the • management committee was held the same day. There was a good attendance, and numerous matters in connection with the internal working of the nursery were discussed, and much appreciation expressed of the progress made.
