ESTBRDAY’S CONFERENCE. At the Dominion Publicity and Tourist Conference held yesterday, t’-t chairman, Mr A. Leigh Hunt, pres!. • ed. The following delegates were also present : Messrs L. O. H. Tripp, representing the New Zealand Acclimatisv :tion &ciety; E. V., Bevari, Overseas Shipowners’ Allotment Committee; F. L. Fitzgerald, Aard Motor Services Association; D. J. McGowan, Wellington Chamber of Commerce; ,L. O. Hooker,, secretary, Hawera Winter Show Asso-I, ciation; and A. H. Messenger, Publicity Department. Addressing the delegates'present, the chairman; (Mr A. Leight Hunt) outlined a proposed scheme, formulated . by members of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce Publicity and Tourist Committee for the efficient development of the tourist traffic of the Dominion, and which was submitted to the conference for consideration. ■A. further conference is to be held.
