BIG DEPUTATION TO PRIME MINISTER
REQUEST FOR FULFILMENT OF PROMISED LEGISLATION CABINET CONSIDERING THE QUESTION A deputation from the Licensing Reform Association of : New Zealand waited on the Prime Minister, the Hon. J. G. Coates, yesterday morning and asked for the introduction of licensing legislation. 1 Speakers pointed out that the late Mr Massey had promised that legislation would be introduced, and they outlined some of the directions in which 'they considered amendments to the existing law might with advantage be made.
