Well, there’s a fascjnnting yam—pictures to match—on the Magaxine’s front pagd of the/.finest diamonds in the whola wide World.. If these jewels do not interest yon, how about a chatty story concerning Oxford "bags,” by which we mean trousers? Come along,, then! iThe "Book Page” continues .to show increased merit. Our • old friend and scandalmonger, Margot Asquith (we’ve mislaid her title for the time being) "stars” in this feature. 1 If only she wore a more presentable ./face! “Eve’s Vanity Case "is knocked a. trifle out.of shape by bulging '. advertisements,' but manages : to retains' tench' of its pristine grace and dignity. Yon simply can’t; keep a good man down. "The Fairy Ring” is rather lush, but deaf . little folk on the ’stools aro not at all upset about tbats at least, so “Fairiel,” who ’ is a professional optimist, as- * ' suras Us. .
