TRAFFIC DEATHS IN LONDON
London streets continue to bo veiy nange roll.: to life Statistics issued bv Scotland Yard show that in the first three mentis of the year 185 persons were killed and 17,625 injured in street accidents. Trade and commercial motor-cars were responsible for 67 deaths, private motorcars for 42, and omnibuses for 88. The number of people killed is mu-h greater than during the first three months of 1028 or 192 4. when the figures were 119 and 175 respectively. On the other hand they show a material reduction on the deaths from ibis cause for June nml December, 192-1, when the respective figures were 209 and 238.
