It eeems queer in these days when we dress at night in sheer gold and silver and adore pageantry that by day our dress gets more and more* like man’s At a London society dressmaker’s lately (the wife of a famous naval man run 3 it) two of the bestknown girls in society were fitting themselves out for the tennis season—in trousers. “Bloor tennis trousers,they are called, and though when the wearer is standing they look like a wrap-over skirt, in play they are just the undergraduates’ very widS flannel trousers with an extra box pleat let in.
