MEETING OF BOROUGH COUNCIL At the fortnightly meeting of . tie Lower Hutt Borough Council, he'd Inst evening, .the Mayor. (Mr W. T. Strand) presided. Councillors A. J. Hobbs, A_ Grierson, J. Mitchell, L. T. Watkins. E. W. Hunf, H. G. Teagle, sE. Waldie, W. G. Meldrum, and A. Mcßain. were also present. It was decided to consent to the recommendation of the Suburban Highway’s Board that ' the Wellington City Council should issue motor drivers’ licenses on behalf of the local bodies concerned.
