JAPANESE ALARMED BY SIGNS DANGERS OF WORLD WAR. Renter’s Telegram. (eceived July 24, 5.6 p.m.)" _ NEW YORK, July 23. Count Michimesa Soyeshima, addressing a conference which is being held under the auspices of the Federal Council of Churches, proposed that. a second international conference should be held, to consider international relations- from the Christian point of view. The count urged the repeal of that provision of the Immigration Act which oxcluutes the Japanese, and said that a section of the Japanese people feels that the Act is “a studied'insult.” “The nation-wide mobilisation, the naval manoeuvres on a gigantic scale, almost eclipsing all the naval struggles of history, anu other causes of conflict ore to be seen in some parts of the globe,” he said. “If the Powers go on arming as ,they are to-day there will be another world war, which will be followed by a world revolution and the end of civilisation.” 1
