BODY FLOATING IN SACK
MURDER MYSTERY AT PERTH YOUNG WOMAN MISSING. By Teleeraph.—Rreas A—n. —Conyri srht. PERTH, July 24. A case of suspected murder was revealed at Fremantle, when a sack con tnining the body of a stylishly dressed young woman was found floating in the harhonr by two fishermen, who reported to the police. The body was found to be inside two sacks, tied with rope, and was fully dressed. It woe that of a woman of nbout 2-3, with dark brown bobbed hair. The free appeared to show traces of a violent blow above tbs rose, but a post-mortem examination revealed that the brain was not injured. A doctor raid death was not due to drowning, but might have been caused by suffocation. The girl had possibly been, dead a fortnight. The police have been advised that Ruby Lee Wood, 21, and married, has been missing from her home since July 21st. when she left to go to work at her husband’s fruit shop at Subiaco. The missing woman and her husband lived with her people, but the relations between the parents and the husband were strained. When she failed to return home her parents asked no questions, hut later reported the matter to the police. The father will be permitted to see the bodv to-day. From the description he believes it to be that of his daughter.
