MOST SUCCESSFUL YEAR.
At the. annuaLmeeting of the, Wellington Horticultural Society, held Vast evening, Mr J.;B. Harqourt .presided. Mr Harcoutty 'in submitting the annual report. , expressed gratification at the .society’s having experienced undoubtedly the most successful year in its history. This- .year,- he said,’ the society would dommenco“with "a effidit ’Mlanee of .£SO. . A great debt' of gratitude was owed to. the professional-gardeners, who had . given -splendid help towards- making last, year’s., show such a . brilliant success. ■ . ...; .; ’ ... ..
