MAGISTRATE’S COURT
YESTERDAY’S SITTING. At the sitting of the Magistrate’s Court held yesterday morning, Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., presided. Henry Firth, for a third offence of drunkenness, wa3 fined the amount of his bail, £2. Frederick Emanuel Simmies, alias Jack Reid, charged with stealing at Wellington, £lB 2s 3d, the property of Herbert Gibbard, was remanded till Julv 29th. The case of George Bartley Huxford, charged with the theft, between June Ist, and Juno 15th, of £39, the property of the Wellington City Council, was adjourned till July 29th.
