RIFFS MOVING NORTHWARD OBJECT NOT APPARENT.
Renter's Telegram. PARIS, July 20.
According to telegrams from Fez, the Riff regulars appear to be moving northward, leaving rebel tribesmen to carry on the operations. The object of the movement is not yet apparent. French airplanes are incessantly active between Fez and the, front line, carrying up bombs, munitions, ana food, and bringing hack wounded. The French have lost the military posts of Babhosein and Wadhamrin, as a- result of a violent 'Riff attack', “ in which the Riffs lost heavily. It is stated that - the posts at Babhosein and Wadhamrin were given up -because they were -isolated. Thei- posts were destroyed, and- the positions are being steadily bombarded by. French aircraft. ,
