BIG AREA ALLOCATED NO MONEY AVAILABLE. Par Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 21. Sir Heaton Rhodes was interviewed on the railway station this morning by a deputation from the Southland Progressive League, who asked that afforestation in Southland should b e started as soon as possible. Sir Heaton Rhodes said the department had allocated 20,000 acres, but had not the money to enable it to make a start this year.
