OFFENDERS PUNISHED CARELESS MOTORISTS. Mr C. R. Orr-Wnlker, S.M., presided over a sitting of the .Magistrate’s Court yesterday. For exceeding the speed limit through Ngahauranga, Lawrence Sinclair was fined £1 and 7s costs, while other speeders on the bitumen were > dealt with ns follow:—George Mit-b chell, £1 and 7s costs; Norman Leoker . £1 and 7s costs; Albert William.' Lee, £1 and 7s costs; Robert Joseph Kbliott, £1 and 7s costs; Charles , Law-. renoe, Neilson, £1 10s, and .7s;: Agnes Duncan, £1 .and 7s costs; Frank Dickinson, £2 and 7s costs; Roy. Ibbotspn, 10s and 9s costs. Percy /Wilton and Wilford Bertie ' Smith, who left their cars ‘ facing the wrong way, were each fined 10s and ; 7s costs, while on a charge’of driving in a prohibited area, Frank Crocombel. was ordered to pay costs only,.’7s. On a similar charge Robert Alexander Sloan was penalised to the same extent. Charles Short was fined 15s and 7s costs for cutting a corner. - /For neglecting to have their cars lighted, Theo. Walters, Gerald Francis Gardiner, and Walter Nevill [ Norwood were each fined 10s and Vs costp, Henry Hutchings os and costs, and Albert William Lee costs only, 7s. Tbirwell Haywood failed, to register tho change ’of ownership of a motorcar, and. for this offence he was fined 10s and 7s. costs. ... Henry. B, mt'ding, who used a mo-tor-car. when the registration had not been transferred, was penalised a similar amount, On a charge of allowing his cow to wander, Samuel J.
