INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION

> ■ * WELLINGTON WINTER SHOW It may not be generally known that £ til is year the Wellington industrial Exhibition, which is to be held in conjunction with the Wellington Winter show, is entitled to rank as a Dominion Industrial Exhibition this year. The association must bo congratulated on the success of its efforts to bring the secondary industries of New Zealand more pi°~ i minently before the people, as entries f have been received from Auckland m the North to Invercargill in the South. Although the association has been allotten nearly half the space in the huge -^lpitea 1 shed ‘ the whole of the space has been taken, up by nearly two hundred standholders in order to display their manufactures, and it is now quite evident that the exhibition will be ono worthy of the Dominion, and will be of consiaerr able educative .value to New Zealanders themselves, while it should prove an excellent advertisement to overseas visitors, more especially in view of the fact that the personnel of the American Eleet will A have an opportunity of seeing' for them--2 selves to what extent, both the primary 2 and secondary industries of this far-flung 2 isle 'have developed. Everything now 0 points to the Winter Show being cn a much more expensive scale than was the t case last year.
