LEAGUE FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEET*. A meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Rugby League was held last evening, when Mr. T. Tuohy presided over the following members:— Messrs Aird,. Mudge,' Coulter, Cunningham, Swan, Mayo, Simpson, Stephens, Buckland {secretary), and G. Parkinson (representing the Referees' Association). \ The following Rugby players were nominated as League players W. Anderson, W. Stapleton, Gray, E. Peake, W. Wareham, L. Adams, Watersion, Mouatt, Millar, Reid, S. Lavin, Parkinson. Mr Tuohey spoke on the deputation to the Petone Council, which had met that body previous to this meeting, on tin question of grounds. The following are the fixtures fox Saturday, July 25th : City v. Newtown, Emerson street; M: Wrack. Hutt v. South, Petone, No. 1; Mr Per kinson. Rovers v. Petone, Petone, No. 2;
