Stevens 75), and in the second hit declared when eight wickets had fallen for 315 (Stevens 129. G. O. Allen 52 not out). Roy Kilner took three wickets for 37 runs. Players, in their first innings, made 45V (j B Hobbs 140, H. Sut-liffe 50, Kilner 59. P- Holmes 92), Steven* taking four wickets for 72 runs. In the second innings tbe Players had only lost one wicket for 58 runs when the match ended.
