GREAT BRITISH MONOPOLY AMERICANS PROTEST. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. , WASHINGTON, July 19. Representatives of the American Rubber Association waited on Mr F. W. Kellog, the Secretary of State, asking him to intervene with the British Government with a view of ending London's monopoly of the rubber market, and arresting the rapid increase in rubber prices. Mr Kellog held out hut little hope of being able to do anything to afford the relief asked for.
