INFECTIOUS DISEASES
VERY SLIGHT INCREASE. There is a very slight increase in the number of infectious disease cases notified this week. Diphtheria numbers nro the highest in the list, and they show an increase of fivo over the previous week’s cases. Other diseases are normal. The Nelson and Marlborough districts have only one case this week, that being pneumonia. The total cases last week numbered 43. This week’s figures are 47.
