At thfy Mnsterton Technical School Board, the Director (Mr F. W. Martin) fitated that the Education Department would not subsidise grants made or money subscribed for the purchase of typewriters. “Then how do they expect tlie school to be equipped?" asked Mr J. B. McV. Cal well. At the meeting of the general committee of the Wairarnpa P. and A. foeiety the New Zealand Jersey Cattle Breeders' Association wrote asking for permission for a junior judge to accompany the judge with the object of assisting young judges in proving their ability to act in such a position. It was decided to agree to the suggestion.
