ROYAL PORT NICHOLSON CLUB ANNUAL SMOKE SOCIAL. The annual smoke social and presentation of prizes of the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club was held on Saturday evening, when the Commodore (Mr D. K. Blair) presided over a large attendance. Apologias for absence were received from the Prime Minister (the Mon. J. G. Coates). Messrs C. E. Statliam, Hon. J. G. Anderson, Mr Cohen, Chairman Wellington Harbour Board, and N. F. Falla. The evening was happily spent, the list beine given below :—The Finer, “The R.P.N.Y.C./’ proposed by the Mayor (Mr C. .T. B. Norwood), and te* •sponded to by the Commodore; “Kindred Clubs," proposed by Mr J. E. L. r ull, and re/ponded to by Messrs T. Ronayne, Parrant (Heretaunga Boating Club), and A. S.
