ECLIPSE OF THE SUN
VISIBLE EARLY TO-MORROW OBSERVATION AT WELLINGTON. A partial eclipse of the sun will occur to-morrow, and some phases will he visible from all parts of New Zealand. As seen from the Dominion the sun will rise partially eclipsed, and as the phenomenon passes off fairly quickly, those in the north will gain a more comprehensive view than the South Island observers. The greatest phase •will occur shortly after sunrise. The following table, shows, the times at which the eclipse will be seen from Wellington and other places:—
