YOUN<S MAN’S END ONLY MARRIED THREE MONTHS. Per T"res» Association TAIHAPE, July 8. The young man, Ernest Robert Solomon, who had both legs amputated as the result of being run over by a guard's van when crossing the station yard on Saturday night, died in the hospital last night. The deceased was only 22 years of age, and was married three months ago. He came from Dunedin, and only joined the railway service last February, being employed as a porter at Taihape. An inquest was opened to-day and adjourned till Tuesday next, after evidence of identification had been given.
