A GOOD WEEK-END? (Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.m. yesterday) are foe moderate to strong southerlies to easterly breezes, and fair to cloudy ‘weather generally. Barometer little movement. D. C. BATES. Meteorological Office, Wellington.
The Secretary, General Post Office, advises that the following special weather forecast was broadcasted by Brisbane Radio during last night: “Cyclonic disturbance centred 8 p.m. east from Broad Sound; probably moving southward; intensify increasing.”
