SCULLING TITLE
HANNAN-GOODSELL CONTEST FINANCE TO BE ARRANGED. By Telegraph. —Pree= A '!-n Copyright (Received June 10, 11.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 10. The articles signed by J. P. Hannan and Major Goodsell, for the sculling championship race on the 27th instant, provide that Hannan’s second instalment of £3OO shall be paid by the loth, and the final £IOO a week before the race. W. Beach will be umpire, and J. IV. Scott will he judge. Hannon states that the £3OO and expenses from his Auckland supporters is expected any day. He is in the best of condition, and likes the course better than any in New Zealand; hut his trainer says he would like another fortnight to prepare him for such an important race. Hannan expects to have his boat, the Tauranga, 12 days before the race.
