SERIOUS CHARGES
AGAINST RESTAURANT-KEEPER YOUNG WOMAN IN TROUBLE Three charges of supplying a..woman with instruments and medicine for an unlawful purpose were the cause of the appearance of John Boolieris, a restaurant-keeper, at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. On the bench were Messrs J. W. Ellison ano J. Staples, J.P.’s Examined by Chief Detective Kemp, a young womnn who was omployed by the accused as a Uitchenmaid. said that she had kept company with the accused, who was responsible for her being in a certain condition. Ho had supplied her with medicines and instruments. After further evidence had been heard, the case was adjourned until this morning, to hear the evidence of another witness.
