Last evening ,a meeting was held at Athletic Park under the auspices of the Wellington Centre of the A.A.A., when a number of interesting events were run off, the details of which are as follow: 120 Yards Handicap.—C, Jenkins, scr, 1; E. Murphy, 7yds, 2. Time, 12 2-ssec. One Mile Handicap.—H-’Cook, 125yds, 1; C. Campbell, 20yds, 2; J. Preston, 65yds, 3. Time, Imin 28 2-ssec. Won by 15 yards. . , ” 100 Yards Ladies’ Handicap.—C. Posselt 12yds, 1; M. Hayviee, 4yds, 2. Time, i22-sseo. One Mile Cycle Handicap.—P. A. Lett, 200yds, 1; G. Bright, 100yds, 2; L. Baker, 90yds, 8. Time, 2min 9 4-ssec. Won by Half-mile Walk Handicap.—W. Nicholls 40yds, 1; A. J. Fraser, 45yds, 2; J. Putter, 40yds, 3. Time, 3min 17 4-ssec. Won by three wards. Relay Ivace, i-mile. —’Varsity, 15yds, 1; Wellington, scr, 2. An easy win. Teams: Wellington—Paris, Truman,’ Guy, Jenkins. ’Varsity Leadbetter, Brown, Kalaugher, Allen. Time, 45sec.
