DUNEDIN AT WESTPORT
SHIP’S PARTY’S TRIP TO BULLER GORGE. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, March 21: H.M.S. Dunedin arrived from New Plymouth this morning, and anchored in the roadstead. An official party, headed by the Mayor, put off from Westport in the tug Mana at 10 a.m., and boarded the ship later. Commander Stopford and 14 officers came ashore, and were the. guests of the Progress League and citizens. 'Die party had a run up to Buller Gorge, where they entered Barley’s > coal-mine. The weather was beautifully fine, and all spent a pleasant day. I The Dunedin leaves at 10 p.m. for Greymouth, and from there goes on to Milford Sound. <
