THE PRICE OF BREAD, r AN AUCKLAND STATEMjENT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 2. Despite the attitude or the Industries and' Commerce Department the price of bread will go iip, as announced, to-morrow, states the chairman of the .Master Bakers’ Association. He says bakers are prepared to. allow the de-i partment to make any investigation it wants to, and they are quite satisfied they are not exploiting the public.
