MAGISTRATE'S COURT
SATURDAY'S SHOTTING. Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M., presided at Saturday morning’s sitting of the Magistrate’s Court. Laurie Ormond McDermott was charged: with failing to account for £2O. He was remanded to Auckland for March 3rd. At the Mount Cook Police Court, on Saturday morning, Mr W. H. Ooy, J.P., fined a first-offender for drunkenness 10s, the amount of his bail, in default 48 hours’ imprisonment.
