THE PRINCE’S WAR MEDAL
The gold medal which is to be presented to the Prince of Wales by Sir George Grahame, British Ambassador in Brussels, on behalf of the Societe des Amis de la Medaille d’Art, records the entry into Brussels, after the Armistice, of King Albert and Queen Elizabeth, with the Prince riding at their side. Although His Royal Highness possesses honours and decorations from most European countries, this is the first medal which Belgium has so far presented to him.
