Interest is being evinced in the action of Dr Haden Guest in raising the question of free trade versus protection at a meeting of the Labour Party on Tuesday. Tbe “Daily Express” 6ays. some trade unions already are moving against traditiqiji, while ,a number of Labour Commoners now favour the exclusion of -imports produced under unfavourable labour conditions. The Commonera include Messrs Wheatley, Maxton, nuu Tom Jolmstou.
