WARNING ®F EPIDEMIC OUTBREAK IN AUSTRALIA IN ABOUT FIVE WEEKS. OFFICIAL STATEMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright (Received February 27, 10.10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 27. The Federal Director-General of Health has issued a warninr stating that about five weeks hence there will be an epidemic of influenza in Australia, and asking the public to take all precautions. He adds that the disease is now prevalent in England, and invariably, in the past, such an outbreak has been followed by an epidemic'in Australia. DEATHS IN ENGLAND FOUR HUNDRED LAST WEEK.
